How information is handled

Address checks
Your submitted address is used to perform the check you request. The server sends it to the U.S. Census geocoding service, then uses the returned coordinates to query official Saint Paul data. The application does not intentionally create a permanent address history or database of searches.
The address is submitted in a request body. It is not added to the page URL, page title, analytics event, or query string by this application.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity is used for aggregate site analytics and session insights. Address input fields and the matched-address result are explicitly marked for Clarity masking. The application does not send addresses as Clarity custom events or metadata. Clarity may still process technical data such as device, browser, page, interaction, and network information.
Google AdSense
The Google AdSense publisher script is present to prepare the site for advertising. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or related technologies to deliver, measure, and personalize ads according to their settings and applicable law. No ad units are currently invented or disguised as checker actions.

Other service providers
The U.S. Census geocoder, City of Saint Paul systems, ArcGIS infrastructure, hosting provider, and normal internet intermediaries may process the technical request information needed to deliver their services. Their own policies apply to that processing.
Retention and security
The application does not include user accounts, saved addresses, or an address-history feature. Standard hosting and service logs may still temporarily contain technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, response codes, and user agents. No internet service can promise absolute security.
